#Viktor was obviously deeply in love with her #just remember the fact that he took her to prom #even knowing that he could’ve choose any other girl #remember how he forgot about everyone and danced with her all night #remember how he looked at her while saying ‘write to me, please’ #remember how, a few years later #on Fleur’s wedding #he danced with her one more time #probably being conscient that her heart already belonged to Ron #this is why I love Viktor Krum so much #he just enjoyed being with Hermione #and didn’t care about the future #mostly, because she wasn’t going to be a part of his.
reblogging because krum is extremely underrated
I’m a Romione shipper and adored him. I don’t understand why he is hated on. Is it a shipper thing??
I have no idea because he was legitimately perfect. In fact, if I’m remembering correctly (and I could be wrong since I haven’t seen the movie in a while) when Harry was given second place in the second task because he stayed to try and protect the others Karkarof was all ‘Noooo, terrible dont do that! Victor got second! Second belongs to my student!’ But Krum’s face was like ‘naw, give it to Potter. He deserves it.’
If that’s not proof of perfection I don’t know what is.
In 2010, there were 8 school shootings in the US.
In 2011, there were 10.
In 2012, there were 14.
In 2013? 28.
If that doesn’t horrify you, then I don’t know what would.
Normandy Beaches in 1944 & 70 Years Later
On June 6, 1944, Allied soldiers descended on the beaches of Normandy for D-Day, an operation that turned the tide of the Second World War against the Nazis, marking the beginning of the end of the conflict. Reuters photographer Chris Helgren compiled archive pictures taken during the invasion and went back to the same places to photograph them as they appear today.

Wow, seriously wow.
I have bronchitis. Thanks to the ACA, I was able to get medicine for $0. #ThanksObama
that came from taxes I paid.
Well, let my know how much I owe you and I’ll drop a few pennies in the mail. War comes from taxes you paid, and I personally dislike the amount I pay going for that… Maybe we should check “yes” or “no” on our 1040 forms this year for allocation of tax dollars.
I’m sorry you think I’m lying, but I’m not. I qualified for the Medicaid expansion under the ACA, which is partially funded through taxpayer revenue. I don’t think the IRS mailed you a letter saying, “Nah nah nah nah naaaaaaah! This year’s tax dollars went to pay for medicine for poor people mwahahaha!” Who knows? Maybe YOUR portion of tax dollars went to a Hellfire missile that took out a village in Afghanistan. Ooh, how exciting for you!
Comfort yourself with that thought as I use my inhaler, which I would not have been able to afford without the ACA.
what the fuck is wrong with Americans who aren’t on board with free healthcare. I’m Canadian and I don’t care that I pay extra taxes so a little boy in Alberta can have open heart surgery, or an elderly man in Nova Scotia can get the heart medication he desperately needs. It’s called taking care of your people. I’m glad I pay so that people can have a good quality of life. It’s called being a decent fucking human being.
Part of American culture is if you’re not making enough to afford these things then it’s your fault but definitely not The System’s which provides more than enough opportunities for even the most oppressed individual to rise above.
It’s the “Get ahead fast!” game and HOW DARE YOU lessen my victory by saying the game isn’t fair!
I am absolutely in favor of a government taking care of its own citizens. But for a twist or turn of fate, the person bitching about how their taxes go towards medical coverage for the needy might themselves become disabled someday and need government assistance to get by.
Also note that the countries who have free health care for its citizens beat the US with quality of living and happiness scores, every time.
LOOK AT THIS. LOOK AT THIS, MEN WHO DO THIS, AND FEEL FOOLISH
